Black tea is made from the fermented leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. These dried leaves and leaf buds are also used to make green and oolong teas.

Black tea contains 2% to 4% caffeine, which affects thinking and alertness. It also contains antioxidants and other substances that may help protect the heart and blood vessels. It has different properties to green tea, which is made from the fresh leaves of the same plant.

Ingredients

Black tea (56%), ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon flavouring, cloves and clove flavouring.

-Drinking black tea helps to keep people alert and improve alertness, including after prolonged periods without sleep.

It also helps to increase blood pressure in older people who have low blood pressure after eating.

-It has even been observed that people who regularly drink this type of tea appear to have a lower risk of developing ovarian cancer compared to those who never or rarely drink tea.

How to use/recommended use

1. Heat the water

2. Place in teapot (or in an inner filter with a hole <0.4 mm)

3. One teaspoon of tea per cup and one teaspoon per pot

4. Pour boiling water into the teapot

5. Leave to steep for 2 to 4 minutes
