Description
Cal Valls Agave Concentrate is a natural sweetener of organic origin, obtained from the juice of the Mexican agave plant (Agave tequilana). This nectar is concentrated by evaporation at low temperatures to preserve its nutritional properties. With a sweetness 50% higher than conventional sugar, it is ideal for sweetening desserts, drinks, breakfasts and smoothies. Its fluid texture and mild flavour make it a healthy alternative to refined sugar.

How to use
Use as a substitute for sugar in hot or cold drinks, baking, yoghurts, cereals and other culinary preparations. Given its greater sweetening power, it is recommended to use approximately half the amount that would be used with conventional sugar.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, keep in the refrigerator to preserve its properties.
Format
- 500 ml glass bottle.
Recipe: Wholemeal biscuits with agave
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of wholemeal flour
- 1/2 cup of oat flakes
- 1/4 cup Cal Valls agave concentrate
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 ripe mashed banana
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, oats, cinnamon, bicarbonate of soda and salt.
- Add the mashed banana, agave syrup and coconut oil. Mix until you have a smooth dough.
- Shape the dough into small portions and place them on the baking tray, flattening them slightly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
These biscuits are a healthy and delicious option to enjoy at any time of day.
