Description
Biográ Red Rice is a variety of organic brown rice originating in China, known for its distinctive natural reddish colour and its more intense flavour than white rice, with a hint of nuts, especially walnuts. This rice retains its bran, which gives it a higher nutrient and fibre content. It is ideal for preparing paellas, soups, salads or as an accompaniment to various dishes.

Directions for use
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- Cook with 2.5 measures of water for each measure of rice for 35-40 minutes.
- Leave to stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving.

Store in a cool, dry place away from light.

Warm red rice salad
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Biográ red rice
- 1 sliced cucumber
- 1 grated carrot
- 1 chopped red pepper
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Cook the red rice according to the instructions above.
- Rinse with cold water and drain well.
- Mix the rice with the chopped vegetables.
- Dress with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Serve warm or cold.
This salad is perfect as a light main course or as a side dish.
